HPC also offers a coating range designed to bridge the gap between acrylic paint, powder coats and more expensive porcelain enamel coatings, and which is formulated to meet the needs of those wanting a more durable appearance with features including resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, abrasion, chipping, peeling and cracking.

Based on inorganic polymers featuring outstanding high-temperature properties, excellent gloss retention at elevated temperatures and high impact resistance, these special coatings withstand the effects of chemicals and solvents, are stain-resistant and even resist the effects of weathering and UV (ultraviolet light) exposure. They bond to all metals including most grades of aluminium and steel and are available in many colours.

HPC’s Hi-tech Appearance coatings (AP) don’t just radically improve the appearance of an engine bay, motorcycle frame, brake calliper, cylinder head or suspension component (to name but a few of the many applications), they’re significantly more durable than enamel paints and powder coatings and offer excellent resistance to scratching, chipping and chemicals, even brake fluid. They also easily withstand temperatures of 315°c.
